D.I.D’s X-Ring is about 50% lower friction and delivers 50% to 100% longer wear resistance.
D.I.D’s X-Ring twists under pressure from the side plates reducing friction compared to other type squashed designs.
Special low-friction "X" type O-ring is used to increase performance and provide better sealing to keep dirt out and lubrication in. Superior strength to combat breakage.

The twisting resilience of the X-Ring’s four sections greatly increases its sealing performance. This keeps the dirt out and the lubrication in much better than any other O-Ring. X-Rings have the greatest wear resistance of any other type of O-Ring or Non-O-Ring chain
